Can someone tell me what this is about? I was under the impression Poeme Tragique received a single performance in 1961 and hasn't been seen since.

   Mukhamedov did this at the Nureyev memorial gala in 1993 at the Coliseum - staged by Derek Deane - lots of lunging about near the footlights: very dramatic. I think that some critics sniffed at its authenticity - but then again apparently forgot most of the steps through nerves at the premiere.

Sorry - Nureyev had the memory lapse and improvised.
