""Not Ballet Likely""

There was an article in the Telegraph on 28 September in which 11 year old Comprehensive school lads were asked if they would consider ballet lesson. The response was quite predicatable "Not Ballet Likely!" The article can be found at

http://www.telegraph.co.uk:80/et?ac=003570817410509&rtmo=3mAHx3uM&atmo=gggggg3K&pg=/et/00/9/28/nbill28.html

A former dancer at the Ballet Rambert wrote in to the Telegraph today telling his experience as a prospective ballet student 50 years ago. Despite being a miner son everyone was proud of him and his achievement.

He commented that art was respective if not appreciated 50 year ago. But today people respect footballer, pop stars etc more much to the detriment of art!

On a ligher note there was an article in Private Eye about "Billy Hague" about a Yorkshire lad who made it to the head of the Tory Party and how he was influenced by an old lady with a hanbag!

Where do get the film rights to this story!
