"That 'cultural cancer' reference"

Good old Louise Levene. In today's Sunday Telegraph she picks up Germaine Greer's reference to ballet as 'cultural cancer' on BBC2's Art Zone programme with the comment that a simple 'I don't like ballet although it gives innocent pleasure to a great many people' would have got her point across less offensively than likening this lovely art form to a deadly disease. I am still hoping that someone will take Greer to task more publicly for this mindless piece of philistinism so I am going to write to the editor of the Sunday Telegraph supporting Ms Levene's comments. Watch out.

Good for you, it's time Ms Greer got some feedback on some of her more outlandish comments.

I think a few of us should go around and hold her hostage...
