A luscious bill, but a thundering faux pas. Ismene Brown reviews two programmes performed by the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden (and we get a link which is nice!):

It is remarkable that last week, a week crammed with grand dances and grand dancing, the most exciting thing I saw was a group of performers, variously handicapped, making a statement about disability

There are reviews of the RB's Summer Season in the Observer, the Independent and the Telegraph. And there is a big article about Asylmuratova & Mukhamedov in the Telegraph and also a small piece of Durante talking about her perfect ballet in the Observer magazine. And more... I think something about AMP in the Mail magazine. But I don't know the URL.

I've found some more bits. The Observer was late with its site update I think. Regrettably the Telegraph site, since it's last redesign, denies the existence of Sunday. The Indie ditto I think.

The patron saint of modern art. Through his work with the Diaghilev company as a dancer and choreographer, Vaslav Nijinsky redefined dance - but the spectre of madness was always near. Fifty years after his death, Andrew O'Hagan assesses his genius:
