Notes to Editors
Artangel commissions and produces new work by contemporary artists. Each
commission is shaped by its location - by the spatial and historical
characteristics of a building, a natural environment or a particular
medium. And each project has at its centre the principle of
collaboration - between artist and place, between different forms of
expression and between the finished work and the audience. Previous
Artangel projects include Michael Clark, Mmm ... Kings Cross Depot
(1992), Rachel Whitehead, House, East London (1993/94) and Brian Eno &
Laurie Anderson, Self Storage, Wembley (1995).
As one of the great classical ballet companies of the world The Royal

outreach work with young people and adults throughout the country brings
enlightenment, knowledge and enjoyment.
Siobhan Davies founded her own company in 1988. Siobhan Davies Dance
Company is widely regarded as a flagship of independent contemporary
dance. This reputation is built on a body of work that, for more than a
