"Angela Rippon - ENB"
 
   Did we know that Angela Rippon was taking over from Lady Harlech as chairman of ENB? I must say, having read the two pieces in the Telegraph(one by Rippon, one by Harlech)that it seems like a very good idea, though I imagine Harlech will be a hard act to follow.

   Rippon's appointment was already announced by the ENB several months ago. But I suppose that the artistic matters are still in the hands of Derek Deane, and that Rippon is more in charge of fundraising and financial matters.

>ENB several months ago.****And I believe she mentionned it when she guested on the latest series of BBC2's of 'Have I got news for you'. If she didn't say it as such, she at least was pushing ENB a lot that night!

It was quite funny to see how the other panelists didn't seem to know what ENB was....
