"Next Mini-poll"

I'd like to get back to changing the poll each week. So what will the next one be on? As ever do remember the format which essentaily means that possible answers have to be v short and punchy....

thanks in anticipation

In view of the interest in the touring polls I wondered if something on the lines of "Is there a need to set up a series of dance festivals around the country at which four or more companies perform dance over a two week period."

A yes, no, or only if extra funding given responses might be possible.

Venues should include the North East, Yorkshire East Midlands, London, South East, South Coast, South West, Avon, Wales, West Midlands, North West, and Scotland, Lowlands and Highlands. Sorry if I have missed any one, it was accidental.
Perhaps want I and many others want to see more variety of companies, and that will take a major change of attitude by the Arts council.

If you had to choose one company, production or dancer (or combination of all three) to see in the next few months, what what it be.

Suggestions:

AMP's Carman
NYCB in Edinburgh
ENB's Sleeping Beauty

etc.

4. Trite music
5. Unimaginative choreography
6. Emphasis on speed
7. Homogeneity of repertory
8. Lack of consistent training
9. Emphasis on turns
10 Emphasis on jumps
11. Lack of funding
12. Lack of venues

...and so on...

Given that casting info for next season isn't there in much detail yet...

Which RB dancer would you most like to debut as Odette / Odile next season ?

Or as Lise ?

What ballet phenomenon would you pay over 100 to see?

Thanks everybody for the suggestions, a great crop and I'm sure some will feature in the future. But I find this one irresistible at the moment - thanks Lynette
