"Photocall for Bach 2 the Beat"
Press photographers are invited to photograph the dress rehearsal of the
Dance School of Scotland's Summer Show on Wednesday, June 23, at The King's
Theatre, 294 Bath Street, Glasgow from 6.30pm until approx. 8.30pm.

In a double bill inspired by the music of J.S. Bach, talented teenagers from
all over Scotland and northern England will present a new collaborative
work, Bach 2 the Beat and Robert North's The Water's Edge from Scottish
Ballet's repertory.

Bach 2 the Beat has been specially commissioned by the Dance School of
Scotland, bringing together five emerging choreographers; Lorna Scott
(ex-Dance School of Scotland student and Scottish Ballet soloist, whose work
is already in the repertory of Scottish Ballet), Oliver Hindle (whose work
is currently in the repertory of Birmingham Royal Ballet), Lynne Bustard,
Nicola Gaines and Thorey Mountain.

On arrival at Stage Door photographers should ask for Wendy Grannon. Bach 2
