"Marguerite and Armand at Coli in 1978?"

I'm trying to check a date... I gather that Fonteyn and Nureyev, indeed probably all the original cast of Marguerite and Armand, danced it in a 'Nureyev and Friends' programme at the Coliseum around 1978. But was it 78? or some other year?. If it helps we think the Nureyev and Friends programme lasted 2 weeks and followed several weeks of Festival Ballet season that Nureyev appeared in.

Definitely it was 1977. I was there on the 5th of July. That summer season was particularly rich (1977 was the Queen silver jubilee!) and started with R&J performed by the ENB (at that time London Festival Ballet). Thriple bills followed: the first was "Les sylphides", "Corsaire pdd" and M&A. The cast was Nureyev, Fonteyn, Seymour and Makarova!
The following summer there was a gala at Royal Festival Hall without Nureyev. Instead Ivan Nagy was dancing. Again I saw "Les Sylphides", followed by "Don Q. pdd" but of course there was no M&A.

Sorry, it must have been a slip of the finger: I would have thought it was 1977, because I had a "day job" too that was supposed to end at 6pm, so I remember working through my lunch hour so I could leave early for the two week run of the Nureyev and Friends. The second week of the run consisted of: Pierrot Lunaire, a short, modern work set to drum music (sorry, don't recall the name of the work) that was performed by members of the Royal Danish Ballet, ? Don Q pdd (anyway, Makarova and Nureyev) and "The Lesson" with Makarova and Nureyev.
As for M&A: the cast included Michael Soames and Leslie Edwards. I have a question about the upcoming production: who is going to reproduce the Cecil Beaton photo projections? The originals are clearly Fonteyn and Nureyev and so can't be used. If there is more than one casting, they'll have to have more than one set, no???

The second triple bill was supposed to be Pierrot Lunaire/La Vestale/The Lessons but later the program changed and when I was there on the 14th of July La Vestale was replaced by Trio and The Toreador pdd.
