"Atlanta Ballet"
I will be fascinated to hear the range of reactions on Atlanta Ballet's season in London.
I saw the company under Robert Barnett do a particularly interesting ballet by Mikhail Lavrovsky to Mozart music on the theme of "Casanova." Then I saw it in 1996 when I was
attending the cultural Olympics in Atlanta.
At that time they had, I think, about three Asians
in the company, with one about to join: two
of Chinese background; two of Korean background.
I remember John McFall well from his days at San
Francisco Ballet, and some of his early choreography.
So it will be genuinely intriguing to hear what
everyone says about "Peter Pan."
