"NYCB musicians' strike"
 
   Following the last minute cancellation of NYCB's opening night gala when the orchestra called a strike, the company has begun its annual Nutcracker season dancing to taped music. The dispute is about money - of course - and new contracts which are stricter about the number of rehearsals that players, particularly those new to the orchestra, must attend.
