"Friends of Sadler's Wells"

Margaret's article on various Friends organisations in this month's magazine (http://www.ballet.co.uk/magazines/yr_02/jul02/ml_friends_organisations.htm) reminded me that I'd been meaning to ask something about SW Friends (who aren't covered by the article as they don't support a particular company). Next season's brochure seems to indicate that membership perks are more or less restricted to getting ticket discounts and the like, but that actual events have disappeared off the face of the earth. Is this in fact the case? Don't they do things like rehearsals, backstage stuff and the like any more? And if so, how do they get an income from the Friends? If you book for SW regularly you must surely end up saving yourself more money than your initial 36 outlay, mustn't you?

If anyone is still a current member, I'd be interested to hear just what is provided these days.
