"Ticket for sale"
I've got a ticket to watch a film "Markova - the legend", which I won't be able to use. This London premiere of the film about Dame Alicia Markova will take place at 7:30PM on Monday 24th June in the Linbury Studio Theatre. Dame Alicia will be there as the guest of honour. In this new film she coaches young dancers of the Paris Opera House in extracts from roles in which she herself excelled, including Giselle's Act 1 variation, the Ssugar Plum Fairy's solo, the Prelude and Waltz from Les Sylphides and extracts from The Sleeping Beauty and Balanchine's Le Chant du rossignol. She is assisted by Elizabeth Platel. The film by Dominique Delouche lasts 90 minutes and is in English with French subtitles. Ticket 13 including a drink.
If interested, please E-mail me.
