On Tuesday, having flown back from Australia especially, Tamara Rojo, received an Honour from King Juan Carlos in Cadiz. It was a Medallas de Oro de Bellas Artes or Medal of Gold for Beautiful Art.

I think she received it on crutches still recovering from her foot injury/operation. She is now back in Australia with the company, though still not expected to be able to dance - a great shame for Oz.

Link in Spanish

I think it would be true to say that automatic translation has some considerable way to go, but if you are interested here is the piece in English. You need to now that Rojo means Red in Spanish and so she gets translated to Tamara Red!

Don't get me started on that subject ! Any translation program that translates "Bellas Artes" as "Beautiful Arts" instead of "Fine Arts" ought to be chucked in the bin immediately, because it appears to have been programmed just with individual words rather than phrases, which is probably hopeless in any language.
