LAST EDITED ON 18-04-02 AT 09:14 AM (GMT)

GONE! I have a ticket for this performance but can't make it. It's a good Balcony Standing one (D33) but judging by last Tuesday if you would rather sit then you can! Free to a good home - just drop me an e-mail and I will put it in the post: justin.goddard@atosorigin.com

   Dear Justin,

My name is Bruce Wall, famously 'meunier'. I run a charity called the London Shakespeare Workout (LSW) Prison Project. Our website is www.londonshakespeare.org.uk should you wish to read about us. We take Shakespeare into prisons, utilising the works of the Bard as a glorious tool towards effective interaction and, thereby, hoping to promote Confidence through the Will to Dream.

There is a young lad (22) named Robert Wilkins whom we met at HMYOI Feltham first whilst filming with October Films. While inside Robert received the Koester Award for best writer under 25 and set up the first Prison Radio Station (Radio Feltham), a precedent now replicated in many prisons throughout this nation. Robert got out of prison at 8.30 am this morning and starts working for LSW tomorrow (19/4/02). I have secured three years' full time salary for him and a scholarship to Balliol at Oxford. (He is VERY bright!) He is leading a workout at The Actors Centre for professional actors and ex-offenders on Sunday; attending a press launch and luncheon with the Minister of Prisons on Monday and is doing a mid-day BBC Broadcast on 23rd April (Tuesday - Shakespeare's Birth Day) on the importance of Shakespeare in Prisons.

If you might consider letting Robert have your ticket, you will be opening new horizons for one who has spent four years in a cell, where only his imagination danced to the music of his mind. The world, again both inside and out, needs effective role models, such as I know Robert will aspire to be.

In short, my friend, you would be doing a public service.

Should you feel able to share in this with Robert, please post the ticket to:

Robert Wilkins
Co-ordinating Management Assistant
LSW Prison Project
181A Faunce House
Doddington Grove
Kennington, London SE17 3TB

Bless you.

Bruce Wall,
Chairman Executive Committee
LSW Prison Project
