"Le Corsaire Pas De Deux"

I've been so confused since I watched the pdd danced by Perego and Chang last night. Didn't Perego dance the solo for The Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote to the music by Minkus instead of the Medora's solo ? I've seen the whole ballet,Le Corsaire live only once (the one by Kirov), but I watched the video by the ABT many times. In fact I checked the Medora's solo danced by Julie Kent in the video tonight and it is certainly different from the one danced by Perego at the gala. I'm almost sure she danced the Queen of the Dryads solo. The music for Corsaire is patch work by 5 different composers, ie. Adam, Pugni, Delibes, Drigo and Oldenbourg, but not by Minkus. Can anyone explain this to me ?
Or correct me. I was a little tired last night, but wasn't drinking !! I'm not able to sleep until someone agrees with me or corrects me !

You are right - the Dryad Queen solo is often substituted in concert versions of the pdd, started I think by Nureyev for Fonteyn

i don't know who actually started it, but i know the first time i saw it (the earliest occasion i know of) was in the 1958 film of nureyev's appearance at the ballet competition in moscow with alla sizova, in which she did that variation. it seems unlikely, though, that he would have made the choice on that occasion. wonder if anyone else can pin it down?

Sorry I don't know either. Sounds like a Kirov, rather than Nureyev, tradition
