"TONIGHT - Ivan Putrov to speak to Ballet Association"

We expect a big turn-out tonight for Ivan Putrov, decidedly one of the up-and-coming stars at the RB. Ivan has been seen in many roles now and characterises them all with a long and aristocratic line. His experiences from corps work to lead roles in addition to adapting to life and work in the UK should prove fascinating.

As ever, ALL are welcome (members, of course AND non-members). The meeting is at 7.30 at the Swedenborg Hall which is on the south-west corner of Bloomsbury Square. Nearest tube Holborn and 1 minute walk from there.

... and very entertaining he was too! I thought he came over very well indeed - ambitious in the very best sense of the word, in that he's eager for new roles, but with his head very well screwed-on as well. And very impressive English from someone who couldn't speak a word of it when he joined the Royal Ballet School, as well. But I'll leave Gerald to do the proper write-up ...
