   does anybody know if the royal ballet is going to do the sleeping beauty this year?

   Well i liked Sir Anthony's version..it was spectacular..i prefer it when Carabosse is played by a man..much more dramatic..but i doubt that Stretton will do Anthony's version!!!

   Bring back the Sleaping Beauty with the Oliver Messel designs...they were simply gorgeous

None of this crowding the stage with big gharsih costumes, like in Anthony Dowell's one.

   Good God NO!! keep both of them , they are as close to what was written down by their creator all those many years ago...just like they should have kept Barishnikovs (sorry about spelling!) Don Quixote !!

   I loved the costumes in Sleeping Beauty - except Little Red Hood and some other fairy tale costumes but the sets were dreadful. Also I would love to see the Cinderalla pdd put in. It is a story we all know and the dancing and music is great!!

As for the RB Swan Lake - turn the sets into firewood or porno- rags!
