   Hi,

I see that Irek M is penciled in to be "appearing" at Dame Beryl Gray's Gala at Saddlers Wells on the 10th March 2002, but a dancer or just to say a few words i do not know.

I did see Irek see him a few weeks ago at the Coliseum ( unbelievably standing in the foyer on his own, nose in the programme as not to attract attention) , at the ENB Triple Bill, and he looked extremelly fit / healthy and well.

He would have been superb in the third ballet the ENB were performing that evening ," Who Cares", they needed some one with his stage presence and charisma.

Surely some British company can see the benifits of using his prestigeous talents for the good of British dancing, or am i wrong

David

At the Coli I overheard him tell somebody (who asked for his autograph as emerged from the loo) that he did "not really" have any projects on the go at present.

He did look well - and greeted Michael Corder very enthusiastically.

An Irek fan, I'm very puzzled by your two postings, which are both just copies of other postings - are you trying to tell us something here?

Don't keep us in suspense!

On an Italian dance magazine they say Mukhamedov will be Zorba the Greek in Lorca Massine's ballet at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. The ballet is coupled with Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci".
