"Trolls"

I am not sure if y'all are familiar with that term in relation to the internet but they are people who frequent newsgroups and/or bulletin boards and create chaos with inflamatory remarks and unconstructive criticism.

Like their brethern, the little ugly folks that live under bridges, trolls create mischief wherever they decide to play or feed.

Ballet.co has had its share of trolls the past few months it seems. The ONLY way to get rid of them is to ignore them.

Asking them to play nice does not work nor does castigating them for their bad behaviour.

They can't STAND to be ignored they live for the responses good folks give so to get rid of these people, please do not respond to them at all. Just ignore the rude and they will go away.

Remember it takes two to tangle or tango.

Thank you Lara to put a name on them.
I'll think about your posting ...the next time
They poison a happy place and -although I know it's not the right reaction- some days it makes me even reticent to post

Trolls, alas, are everywhere on the Net, but I once saw a slogan posted in a newsgroup that's appropriate here: Don't feed the trolls.
