   okay another dumb question. just found an old tape of sandra magwick dancing coppelia. and it got me thinking where is she now? im assuming shes retiterd but any info would be helpfull

   She has indeed retired. I think she was undertaking some sort of academic qualification. She also had to be one the most technically accomplished dancers that I have ever seen.

   I saw her a few times with BRB and also have her on Video as Clara - I always loved her dancing, her style was what I liked and she had real presence and personality. But I suppose as I first saw her as (I think) a senior soloist if not a principal almost 20 years ago she probably would have retired by now...
