"evening courses in central London on dance appreciation"

I can find hundreds of courses for every type of dance from belly to salsa but none that just concentrate on helping people to gain greater understanding of dance, especially ballet and modern. Does anyone know where I can find such a course?

This may not be too helpful right now, but I recall that there was a series last season at Covent Garden entitled 'history of ballet' (or something close to that) which was an intermittent evening thing, maybe five or six sessions in all. I can't recall if it was run by the Friends of Covent Garden (more likely) or if it was open to the public. Maybe some readers went to see some of these and can comment ? Perhaps they might run some more of these - you could always check with the ROH.
