"Dance gets the cold shoulder yet again...."

LAST EDITED ON 27-06-01 AT 09:01 PM (GMT)

Well yet again the BBC has given dance a spot on the back burner.

The scheduled repeat of Eurovision Young Dancer 2001 which is still listed on the BBC website, seems to have been replaced at the last minute by a history programme which I'm sure is fascinating -but it ain't DANCE!

If like me you feel the need to comment on this (and also why it has been hidden away on BBC Knowledge to start with) please comment on UK programmes & services feedback on the BBC website...

It doesn't seem to fall within the criteria for rescheduling programmes and doesn't seem to be scheduled for transmission in the near future which is very annoying. Lets hope the BBC 2 summarised transmission on the 14th July goes ahead to enable people without digital TV to see it.

Did anyone tape the first two programmes on the 23rd?

Yours Angry of ....etc!

Yes, I'm pretty mad about it as well. I'm also mad at myself for not watching or taping the original but (a) I didn't realise it was on and (b) I didn't know my cable TV had the channel. Point (a) shows that I should pay more attention to whats in postings (verb. sap.).

lending it to Tomoko tomorrow (Sat), if you want it then I`m
sure she would send it on to you...let me know.

Your right to be angry. I wuld urge folks to go to the BBC form Pete links to and make a point or two.

There is possibly a mini-poll in all of this - perhaps not on teh specifics of what happened to this particular programme but more generically.
