she may not be as adored or celebrated as dancers like darcey bussell or as glamouras as sylvie guillem but debra bull should have definatelly had more of a farewell from the rb. this is a dancer who has spent 20 years with the company and was a truly wonderfull dancer and a great performer. How is it been made possible that she end her dancing career so queitly? I am not suggesting a tribute gala, but her last performance was not even publicised! i know there has been lots of covergae in the press about her new job but why was the one she has left behind so easily forgotten?

But we never got a chance to see what she was capable of. Didn't she win the Prix de Lausanne with a variation from Giselle? She said in her book that she preferred modern work over the big tutu numbers, but it's still gotta hurt. She was underutilised at the RB. I think after 20 years, it's a bit disrespectful to let her slip off the stage without a goodbye. Her new position is based on the hard work she put in offstage. Can we at least thank her for the work she put in onstage?
