"Adam Cooper"

Just incase anybody is interested, there are a couple of dates at this years Exeter Festival.
You can see details on the festival web site: www.exeter.gov.uk/festival.
Dates 7th/8th July.
Not sure of programme, but I think there is a new piece by Adam and a one act of Othello with Adam Cooper, Sarah Wildor and Gary Avis. Judging from the site ie 'you can see the dancers at close range', it sounds like a small venue, so I reckon tickets will be hard to come by.

Thank you for your information, Tim. Did Mr. Cooper asked you to post this information for his fans??? When I met him in Washinton D.C., he told me that he will have his performance in July, so I asked him where can I contact to get a detailed information for the performance, then, he said that "that is a good question"!!! This is the reasone I asked. And I also told him that the posting page of the Ballet.co is the only source we have at present time to get his performance schedule. Anyway, it is too bad that I cannot make it in July, however, if you hear any of Mr. Cooper's performance schedule in a latter part of November or December this year, would you please let us know that is if he does not have his web site up and running before that.

The Northcott is the university theatre, and is smallish and modern. The Orchestra for English Touring Opera only just fit in.All the seats have a good view. I am looking forward to the performance which I mentioned on this site some time ago.

I too am looking forward to show, as many of you will know it's been a long time since the gang of six left the Royal Ballet and formed K Ballet. I have been lucky enought to see them performing in other parts of the world and am sad to see a couple of them at least, leaving to move on to other things. Best wishes to the George Piper Dancers though. I believe there is still a will and the talent, by those remaining, to continue to build the K Ballet company reputation, there is a tour of Giselle planned for later this year, in Japan!

Great too that Adam has continued to maintain his presence as a dancer with an excellent International reputation and I believe, even more so, that he may well prove to be a very strong Artistic Director and choreographer for the future. I don't think the support for this part of his talent is any where near as vocal as it should be. His peice for K Ballet 'Six Faces' was very good. He certainly isn't the kind of guy to just fall back into perfoming the same old same old, he is a forward thinker, with a great deal more to give. Go Adam!!
It will be nice to see him joining forces with Gary Avis and Michael Cassidy for the Exeter shows, also great to see Adam and Sarah dancing together again.

It sounds like a good programme, returns only though now apparantly, might be worth having a go for tickets though, you never know your luck.

What a wonderful comment about Mr. Cooper and six other gangs who left Royal Ballet and formed K Ballet. I really appreciate and enjoyed your thoughtful and insightful comments about them.
I also was one of lucky person to see K Ballet performance in Tokyo this year and they were superb. It was certainly my first experience and what experience that was. I would like to join you, Tim, and say "GO GO GO ADAM!!!!". His artistic and creative talent should be share by all of us for long time.
