"Ross Stretton makes his mark on the Royal Ballet"

Here is an article that I quote verbatim from "The Australian" 08/06/01.

He's not even there yet but Ross Stretton is already Australianising London's Royal Ballet. Stretton, who leaves the Australian Ballet to take up the RB post in August, has programmed Stephen Baynes's 'Beyond Bach' in the RB's 2001-02 season. (The news was announced in London this week, although The Australian has the tip in April.) Baynes and a host of other dance world luminaries will attend a farewell gala for Stretton in Melbourne on June 17.

Re. Rumour circulating that actor Ross Kemp is taking over the Royal Ballet - this should be Ross Stretton.
