"Sibley & Dowell Light up Washington, D.C."

This was the perfect Act II. Ashtonís Thais pas de deux, beautifully danced by Leanne Benjamin and Adam Cooper. Ashtonís tremendous Symphonic Variations, with Cojocaro, Burley, Rojo, Persson, Wildor, and Sasakiís consummate performance. And Antoinette Sibley and Anthony Dowell reprising their London Gala performance of Ashtonís Soupirs. After the curtain fell, it took about two seconds for the Washington audience to rise to their feet and deliver a well-deserved ovation.

I am glad this was so well received. I thought that Leanne made a very spirited Titania.
