"Wildor as Marguarite"

Why is Wildor being given Marguarite, she is too childish for the part, why does she get this, when their are more mature dancers, who in my view would be better in the role than she.
Someone pointed out that she would be not so precious when dancing this role with Cooper whishful thinking .
I am sorry that the mature dancers, are not getting the roles they could dance so well, while Wildor gets given all, I do not blame Sarah for exepting the role of `Marguarite, how could she refuse, but come on Mr. A.D lets be fair the role is not for her.

I think Wildor would be perfect as Marguerite, and I saw Fonteyn do it! When is she doing it? I hadn't noticed.

The fact that the ballet was made on, and until recently enshrined on Fonteyn, has distorted the fact that Marie Duplessis was in her early twenties when she died. it is not an older woman younger man thing, the divide between them is their staus in society.
