June 2000

Eugene Merrett reviews ‘Sleeping Beauty’ English National Ballet London, Royal Albert Hall.

Excellent performance from Tamara Rojo who dance with great confidence and personality. But the real highlight was the Blue Bird Variation with Monica Perego an Yat Sen Chang. I particularly like Perego's light weight moves and her quick feet! Yat Sen Chang was spectacular in his jumps.

June 2000

London, Royal Albert Hall by Bruce Marriott

English National Ballet ‘Sleeping Beauty’

Monica Perego and Yat Sen Chang injected much vitality and panache as the Blue Birds.
