"AMP Swan Lake: Last time *ever*?"

I was lucky enough to receive a packet of AMP/Adam Cooper-related information today, including a Swan Lake brochure saying that the 2000 performances were the last ever.

Ever? As in forever, eternity? Is that really true? No revivals ever, ever??

I think you could take it to mean that the Year 2000 performances would be the last time ever that Adam would be performing. I may be wrong. Can't believe that it won't be revived with other castings. But hang on to your video tape just in case....

It was announced once that Highland Fling was never going to be performed again, but I heard from MB's own lips that he had plans to revive it. It would imagine that Swan Lake is simply too much of a money-spinner to lose it just like that.

And seeing that is now regarded as a classic in its own right and part of a set work in an A-level Performing Arts Dance syllabus, how can they send to bed like that?
