"Mime in Ballet"

Following comments a while back that there's so little information on balletic mime, I picked up a flyer relating to a new book at the Opera House last night.

It's called "Mime in Ballet" by Beryl Morina, is A4 size or so and contains 328 photographs on 144 pages. The mime is demonstrated by the Royal Ballet's Muriel Valtat and ENB's Michael Raynaud. Price 18.99 and available from the ROH bookshop (and Dance Books, I hope?), or from the publishers.

There's also a website at:

http://www.mimeinballet.com

and a contact email at berylmorina@aol.com
