"Champagne and Sylvie!"

I confirm the price of an ROH sandwich platter is 7.50 - something that might be affordable for a special treat. However, has anyone noticed the price of champagne at the champagne bar in the Floral Hall? At 8.50 for a small glass of bog-standard bubbly and whole bottles priced from 44 to 120, I was astonished to see that the bar was so busy! Has anyone here ever paid 120 for a bottle of champers? (Hey, maybe that could be a ballet.co poll idea).

Anyway, Shadowplay didn't do very much for me (I've never really been into boys with matted hair) but Michael Corder's Dance Variations was delightful, and Leanne was outstanding. I shall save my remarks about Sylvie's rendering of Marguerite for a separate posting when I've come down to earth.
