   It's rush, rush, rush at the moment - builders in - so you will just have to forgive the lateness in weekly update etc. And the lack of emails from me - they are backed up '10' deep and I seem to be sinking fast!

   There's a bit in the Times 2 section today about Jeremy Sheffield, who is just starting a role in "Holby City" (or is it "Casualty"?). It manages to skip over his professional ballet dancing completely, though, implying that he left before graduating from the Royal Ballet School, but considering that I remember seeing him as Paris in Romeo and Juliet a few times he obviously must have been with the RB for quite a while.

Sorry, I should have added that you still have to copy and paste the Guardian links. I am a bit puzzled, though, as it does seem that sometimes this link works directly and sometimes it does not!

   Ann, it's the commas that cause the trouble on this 'DC Script' board. Boards that use the 'Ultimate Bulletin Board' software have the advantage that commas don't matter, but they also have their own disadvantages.

By using the code below, replacing the {..} by square brackets, you can overcome the problem here:

{link:www.guardianunlimited.co.uk/Archive/Article/0,4273,4092209,00.html|Mackrell's 'Ondine' review}

Here's what happens when you have replaced the brackets:

   Its easy to forget the format of this command for effectively masking a horrid URL with nice words. The one thing you need to remember is that the message postings page has some help on it - its a hot link called 'HTML reference' and it shows the format of this command and many others. Remember that and you can always sort yourself out.

All that said, I've just done something it would have been nice to have looked at earlier. I've found where all this is handled in the umpteen dozen programs that drive our Posting pages and modified it to allow comas in a URL. So (hopefully!) no more cut and paste or handling such URL's differently. It's a useful move since more URL's seem to be embedding commas these days. People should email me if there seem to be any problems resulting from the modifications.

As a test here is the Macrell URL in the normal way...
