"Sara Sessions on CD!"
I was browsing though the music section of the latest addition to the retail scenery in Oxford namely Borders Bookshop. I was exmining the boxed sets of music when the image that adorns the homepage of this site lept out from the shelf!!!

What a coincidence that of all the archive photos available of various dancers, the picture of Sarah Sessions should appear here and on a ballet music compilation.

By the way, did anyone watch University Challenge last night (23-10-00)? A bonus set of questions showed photos of ballerinas to be identified. I got the plump Fonteyn and the Bussell one (thanks to the nostrils, bad shot from an Ashton ballet), but am not sure that the first picture shown was Viviana Durante, I thought it was Guillem.

On University Challenge, I recognised Isadora Duncan and Fonteyn, but not Viviana or Darcey Bussell! ! They were terrible photos. Still, it's good to know that recognising ballerinas is considered general knowledge.
